Does S925 mean an item is definitely sterling silver?
S925 indicates a claimed fineness of 92.5% silver, but a manufacturer’s stamp is not the same thing as an independently verified UK hallmark.
Where we describe something as S925 stamped, that is exactly what we mean: the item bears an S925 stamp.
Do you test your jewellery?
Testing depends on the item. Where something has been tested, hallmarked or otherwise verified, we will describe it accordingly.
Where something has not been tested, we won’t pretend that it has.
